Cardiologist Referrals

We may recommend you to a cardiologist in our community if our doctors determine that you might benefit from further study.

Cardiologists are doctors that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel diseases (the cardiovascular system). Cardiologists frequently see patients referred to them by other physicians. These individuals include persons who have suffered from congestive heart failure, heart attacks, or atrial fibrillation, also known as irregular heartbeat.

One of our Physicians will ask you a series of questions regarding your symptoms and may conduct some basic tests. They could even order blood work to check your cholesterol and blood sugar levels.



When the doctor has completed a comprehensive examination, he or she will decide if you should be referred to a cardiologist or not.
